Monday- ROL, 5-A-Day, read Pandora’s Box out loud, process of identifying theme and find evidence
Tuesday- Good Things, SSR, Finish theme, and begin "Theseus and the Minotaur"- determine theme and summarize the story (RL.7.2)
Wednesday- ROL, 5-A-Day, work time on "Theseus and the Minotaur"
Thursday- SSR, Practice article (Meleager) with reading strategies about a god--work through with teacher and students (cartoon, too)
Thursday- SSR, Practice article (Meleager) with reading strategies about a god--work through with teacher and students (cartoon, too)
Friday- ROL, 5-A-Day, SSR, assign a god or goddess to each student and start marking and reading article, take notes for dialogue and cartoon.
HOMEWORK:
Thursday -- "Theseus and the Minotaur"
Silent read at home- 2 hours outside of class
