Monday- No School

Tuesday-  Good News, Alexander the Great- Works Cited Page together (SS teachers will need the paper shared with them. SS teachers will print all of the essays.), SSR (finish any typing)

Wednesday- ROL, begin Short Story unit- Short story terms,  I Love Lucy Show (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pu0osSPYNso )- fill in chart and go over

Thursday- Good News, SSR, go over figurative language terms- find in SSR book while reading (create poster to post in room), read “A Dream Deferred” and pick out the figurative language

Friday- ROL, Caught ‘Ya, “Priscilla and the Wimps”- fill in chart, read “Mother to Son” and pick out the figurative language, begin side by side writing “Life for me…..”

Homework-

Finish up Alexander the Great essay- share with your SS teacher when done!

SSR 2 hours outside of class
